چکیده

Celosia cristata is one of the floricultural commodities which also beneficial as a medicinal plant. Mutation techniques can effectively increase morphological diversity and biochemical content C. cristata. Chronically induced mutation using ethyl methane sulfonate (EMS) was first applied to properties. This study proposes modifying induction technique that allows plant material be exposed mutagen (a substance causes mutations) for long time, with minimum damage genetic cell components. Thus, this modification method produce more new plants favorable traits breeding program.
